Anti-Inflammatory Bread

This is a Dr. Hyman recipe I had to try! It's crazy to think the only "grain" is coconut flour and ground flax. The eggs and the almond flour make is fluffy. It also took minutes to make since I blended it in the vitamix.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup almond butter

  • 6 pasture-raised eggs

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup ground golden flaxseeds

  • 3 tablespoons coconut flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

  • 2 tablespoons raw honey (optional)

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender until frothy.

  2. Preheat electric skillet to 200F. Spray with avocado spray.

  3. Add batter to skillet. Set to 300 for 30 minutes.

Oven directions:

  1. preheat oven to 350.

  2. Pour mixture into grease lined loaf pan and bake for 34-40 minutes.
