Roasted Chickpeas
These are great to make in advance for buddha bowls, as a quick snack or on the side for breakfast. They compliment almost any meal and take almost no time to make in the electric skillet.
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon avocado oil
½ teaspoon paprika and cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon turmeric
Salt to taste
Mix chickpeas with oil and spices and place in electric skillet at 350 (lid on) 10 minutes and stir and cook for another 10 minutes.
Or preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chickpeas on a baking sheet and baked for 20-30 minutes. Stirring once.
